A self-made entrepreneur, Abhishek lays particular emphasis on nurturing the leaders of tomorrow and has been incubating entrepreneurial ventures for well over a decade.
Nirbhay Vassa
Nirbhay Vassa is a qualified chartered accountant with 15 years of experience in accounting, finance, process improvement
and strategy. He brings a mix of fundamental knowledge and real life execution to the fore. An industry veteran known for
his IFRS and Ind AS knowledge and an advocate of his profession.
Bhavik Thakkar
A banker with over 15 years of experience, Bhavik has worked across relationship management verticals and headed some of the largest financial advisory desks in India. He heads our Wealth and Investment Management business.
Chintan Mehta
Pivotal in setting up our bullion business, Chintan has developed its trading desk, expanded jewelry exports across Asia and Europe, and established Abans as a market leader in retail sales of gold and silver coins.
He has also helped grow our refining business by getting it accredited by the BIS and the NABL and by building an export capacity of over 5 tonnes of gold and 200 tonnes of silver per annum.
Chintan is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of experience in bullion trading.
Shiv Shankar Singh
Recognized as a “One to Watch” by the CIO Magazine, Shiv Shankar has been a pioneer in the IT infrastructure and information security space for over two decades.
While his expertise spans unified threat management, data-feed management, firewall protection, and capacity monitoring, Shiv Shankar’s most notable work is the establishment of the Disaster Recovery System of the Bombay Stock Exchange’s BOLT trading platform.
With exposure to IT infrastructures of several international stock exchanges that include the likes of NASDAQ, Deutsche Borse, and OMX, Shiv Shankar has been instrumental in implementing cutting-edge technology in each of our trading businesses.
Mayank Mundhra
Mayank conceptualized and set up the Enterprise Risk Management desk at Abans based on his experience of over 11 years at industry leading firms. Having played multiple roles in risk management, credit research, and predictive modeling, Mayank believes that effective risk management is the most fundamental business enabler.
An undergraduate degree holder in engineering, Mayank is also armed with a postgraduate degree in Finance from the Mumbai University.
Tanmay Shah
Tanmay oversees the Quantitative Research and Algorithmic Trading desk at our company. He holds an undergraduate degree in Economics, a postgraduate degree in Financial Economics, the CQF, and is eligible for the CFA Charter.
Tanmay specializes in empirical research, machine learning, options structuring, and risk modeling.
